Welcome to Share Music! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Share Music iOS application and its related services (the "Service"). By using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Use of the Service

Share Music provides a service to create and share universal links for music across various streaming platforms, along with social features including user profiles, a friends system, and direct messaging between users. You agree to use our Service only for its intended purpose and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Accounts and User Profiles

To access social features, you must create an account with a unique handle (username) and a display name. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your account credentials secure.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Ensuring your handle and display name do not impersonate another person or brand, or otherwise mislead other users.
• Ensuring your profile content complies with these Terms.

By creating a public profile, you understand that your handle, display name, and any profile fields you choose to enable (preferred platform, most shared song/album/artist, share count) will be visible to other Share Music users within the app.

3. User Conduct

You agree not to misuse the Service. Misuse includes, but is not limited to:

• Using direct messages to harass, threaten, bully, or spam other users.
• Impersonating any person, brand, or entity through your handle, display name, or profile content.
• Sending unsolicited bulk messages or automated messages to other users.
• Using the Service to distribute illegal, harmful, or offensive content.
• Attempting to disrupt or overload our servers through automated means (e.g., bots, scrapers) or by creating an excessive number of links in a short period.
• Using the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Attempting to reverse engineer or otherwise tamper with the Service's link generation process.
• Creating multiple accounts to evade a suspension or circumvent usage limits.

We reserve the right to monitor activity on our Service. If we detect a violation of these Terms, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access without prior notice.

4. Direct Messages and Social Features

Share Music's direct messaging feature allows accepted mutual friends to send songs to each other within the app. You understand that:

• Direct messages are stored on our servers and are visible to both participants of the conversation.
• You may only send direct messages to users who have mutually accepted each other as friends.
• When a friendship is removed, the ability to send new messages is revoked immediately.
• We do not read the content of private messages except where required by law or to investigate a reported violation of these Terms.

5. Intellectual Property

The Share Music app and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Share Music and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United States and foreign countries.

The music content you share (e.g., song titles, artist names, artwork) is the property of their respective rights holders. Our service provides a tool to link to this content on third-party platforms and does not host, store, or redistribute any copyrighted audio or artwork.

6. Third-Party Services

Our Service relies on third-party services including Firebase (Google), MusicFetch.io, Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal, and other streaming platforms to function. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of these third-party services. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies.

7. Subscription Terms and Auto-Renewable Subscriptions

Share Music offers optional premium subscriptions and one-time purchases that unlock additional features:

7.1 Available Plans

• Monthly Pro Subscription: $0.99/month (auto-renewable monthly subscription)
• Annual Pro Subscription: $8.99/year (auto-renewable annual subscription)
• Lifetime Pro Access: $17.99 (one-time purchase, non-subscription)

Prices shown are in USD. Actual pricing in your local currency will be displayed at the time of purchase and may vary by region.

7.2 Payment and Billing

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID Account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal by going to your Account Settings after purchase.
• No cancellation of the current subscription period is allowed once a period has begun.

7.3 Subscription Management

You can manage and cancel your subscriptions at any time by:

• Opening the Settings app on your iOS device
• Tapping your name at the top
• Selecting "Subscriptions"
• Finding "Share Music" and managing your subscription

Alternatively, you can use the "Restore Purchases" feature within the Share Music app to restore previously purchased subscriptions.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not warrant that the links generated will be accurate or work on all platforms or in all regions.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Share Music, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any significant changes by posting the new Terms within the app or on our App Store page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
